Feeding our Community during a Health Pandemic

During a time when all celebrations are paused and gatherings are limited, this is how we use our love of food and people to show up, and FEED OUR TOWN during a Global Pandemic.

While our catering operations are at a standstill, we’re honored to bring healthy and delicious meals to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

With the help of organizations like World Central Kitchen and Mandela Partners, we’ve helped feed thousands of folks in East & West Oakland and Hayward.

These organizations have provided us with much needed capital to keep our business alive, all while making a difference within our community.

We believe that “Access to healthy foods is a human right” and this has been a driving force behind the work we set out to do when we founded Cocina del Corazon

As small business owners we understood that running a food business came with some inherent responsibilities, which we have always welcomed.

Although 2020 has been one of the most uncertain times in our small business, it has also been one of the most rewarding.

Instead of catering celebrations we are crafting fresh and nutritious meals for our town, and that is a silver lining we wouldn't have experienced otherwise.
